Or maybe this should be the “funniest thing” department? While doing a google on “deprotonate” (to be sure I’m spelling it right), I came across this, as the second result right after the Wikipedia entry. It’s a cover of an Avril Lavigne song, with the lyrics wittily redone. It’s all about hydrogen chloride:
